Best aftermarket engine mounts
Installing the sputhe engine stabilizer system on my 16 Street Bob. Going to replace both engine mounts at the same time. Anyone with experience with the aftermarket mounts??? What's good and what's not??
Thanks
Thanks
I asked Spluthe the same question. No matter how many times I asked, or how I phrased the question, their answer was always "Use the factory mounts."
I had already put a Predator mount on the front, so I put a factory mount with Spluthe stabilizer on the back. No complaints.

Factory on the front, anything else causes to many vibrations.. As for the rear I installed a Kinetic Structures mount and will say that I did not notice any added vibrations but did feel a big improvement in the stability of the backend in high speed cornering (less wobble) Better than stock shocks also make a big difference..
Still rocking the Big Bear Chopper rear mount.
I don't see them selling them anymore. They were expensive $350.00 then.
I had to disassemble the mount to fit it in there. They were meant to install with the engine out.
What a PIA. Anyway, it's been solid for lots of years now.
Chopper Haus has a similar one. $400.00 !
