I must be getting old age brain, 70 next month.
I have known since I was a 13 that you do not use loctite on battery bolts. What did I do? I put blue loctite on and there was not enough connectivity. Oh well, at least it was an easy fix.
I am a dope sometimes.

I forget his name, good friend of mine once said..."Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die"

Can't let something like that get you down, they'll make more loctite

I was never impressed with the little screws you get with the batteries.
I make it a habit to open the screw size from 1/4" screw to 5/16-18 and use brass hex head bolts and star washers to get better bite.

I never had a problem with battery bolts. In fact I bought 10 pack off Amazon so I can drop them. I carry one on bike
