gota 2007 just brought it in for the 1000 mile and had a sluggish performance in 2nd gear. Halrey told me it was nothing to worry about. I was like wtf I just bought this and it runs like crap. I brought Mobil Sny to do the oil change and new plugs it seems to be alright. Other than that bike rides great

-Headlight housing replacement. The rivets holding the headlight shell to the mounting hardware have become progressively loose. My headlight beam jumps all over the place while riding, and provides a nice annoying buzzzzzzzzz while idling at a light or at certain RPM vibration frequencies. New headlight came in, but would not fit properly with my current trim ring. They discovered this after making me wait 45 minutes while they were supposedly swapping out the defective part for the "new" part. Dealer said HD sent wrong housing. Still awaiting arrival of correct housing. Might get a call one day when they're ready to get it right.
I just realized that this may be what's been rattling/buzzing on my bike. Is it the four little rivet things at the bottom of the housing? I have a month left on my warranty. I wonder if they'd cover this.
Only problems I have had is the add on at the dealer. Did have a recall on the bolt holding the battery case. No problems with the motor or any other parts so far, 7000 miles.
07 Street Bob, 9000 Kilometers. Starter "went'; turned out to be a broken starter shaft or "spline". I've heard that the wider 6-speed transmission necessetates a longer spline which may be prone to breaking.
