I have seen some of the super glides and others change to the rear fender like on the wide glide
my ? is i want to take one of the rear fenders like on the super glides and such and mount to my wide glide so i can cut it and get the look i want but just wondering what years if any would bolt on my 03 wide glide so the only modifying i will have to do is just the cutting so i can get what i want. or would it just be easier to get an after market fender to start with. any help would be appreciated.
Am thinking it would be easier to buy after market. This fender on my 03 wide glide is off of a 02 low rider. Had to do some welding and had to change the struts to make it work.

I'm going to be taking the fender from a bob and putting it on my wg this winter.. Checked out the parts needed and found that all I need to get (aside from the fender) are the chrome plates that extend the length of the fender and a new mounting kit for my detachable backrest.
Kerberos do you plan on doing it your self ether way would like to look at it after it's done. I think it will look a lot better myself. mine getting done will depend on weather or not i end up have to replace that tank if i end up having to get a new tank then will do rear and front fender at the same time and talk to brains custom paint in easley he does some killer work. really can't wait to get the bike back it's killing me haven't got to ride it since last friday and i am used to getting out there every day for a little while just to relax and get away from everything for just a little while anyway rant over.
