Careful there man, this crowd is angry, they could turn on you any second! Step away from the keyboard and back away, don't make eye contact, and whatever you do, don't run!

Well I've cooled down some, Yeah the bike was covered and the blacktop people will cut me a check to pay the deductible so far, the fall totaled out the fuel injection system not to mention the mirror handlebar a/c and throttle and in my opinion my bike will be a piece of $hit from now on. I will know more on Monday after the shop gives me the finale cost.

Still Pissed

I'm with you on being a tad bit angry.. However I find the above bolded statement a bit absurd. If you were to drop it yourself would it be a POS? I dropped mine man, and in addition to being angry I was embarrassed also. The pride took a much larger hit that the bike. Is it a POS? Nope, never.
Is you're going to be after a bit of mild work? Nope - better than ever.
Hang in there man, and get er' fixed up right. Will be slightly better than new in no time.

bigcop40:

Don't run this through your insurance. It needs to be run through the paving company's general liability insurance, that's why they have it.

I run a construction company and unfortunately we have to use ours occaisionaly. Accidents happen(I'm not defending the guy that dropped your bike).

Good Luck

Likewise, I dropped mine because of what the bike in front of me did while pulling out of a gas station. I was embarrassed and gave the pride a big hit. But you know what, I dropped my own bike. So it's ok. But the thought of someone else droppingmy bike is tough to digest...

Make the paving company pay all.......
Get the estimate(s), and hand them the bill. I hope you didn't loose any coolant when the bike fell on its side.
If they give you a hard time, mention malicious destruction of property charges to them. And who says they weren't trying to steal it?
It is possible the just trying to move it story is just a cover.
Check everything real close up; dings in exhaust, knicks and chips, etc. It is very easy to do $1000+ damage by just "dropping" a Harley.

I dropped mine recently, and although no damage is obvious to anyone but me, I will have spent over $1000 (no labor) in parts to fix my little boo boo.
Keep a cool head, and good luck/

I agree with the justifiable homicide idea[:@]. But seriously, the mgt company's insurance company is obligated to pay for it. Good luck.
