"Hawg Halters Inc."

That's where I got mine. 19", ....21", ..........it doesn't matter, as everything is in relation to the hub. Everything is spaced off of the wheel mounting point, i.e. the axle.

P.S. I was looking at your picture of your bike. I like the tank lift, but be careful using tire dressing on motorcycles!!!!! It can cause your wheels to slip, and could cause you to go down!!!!!

Any one know where I can get the axle spacers and hub spacer to run my 19 inch front tire after I change over my narrow glide front end to a wide glide front end???
I do not wanna run a 21 inch tire like the wide glide does....matter of fact down the road I might even wanna lace a 17 inch rim to my front hub to run a wider front sneaker!!!
Kinda gonna make this bike FAT like Exile Cycle builds.....
I have the new trees and axle........
I have a 07 St. Bob with all axles being 1 inch....
Thanks
Maybe you can get some made, if you justchanged the triple clampsyou just need to add 3/4" to your existing spacers length, and 3/4" spacers for each side of your fender mounts. The disc spacer should also be 3/4" if your using your original slider.

WS6 if I didn't see your ride I would have left my bike a narrow glide....LOL
I seen how nice that wide glide looked on your bike and ordered the trees right away...
All I think I need is a spacer that will go between the hub and rotor to run my 19 inch stock wheel.. That will bring it in line with the caliper.......then just a few cheap axle spacers and I should be done....

Oh and SGREENE......my tank lift is a Jackyl 2 inch lift....His kit is the bomb.....and inexpensive...

deeblues, iam in the same boat as you. iam doing the exact same thing this winter also with the wdg conversion and the 19 front tire. let me know what you find out. i also run 14inch apes also on my bike,if you need any info on cables. if you use the reg stainless steel oem cables, i have a set of new extended oem braided throttle & idle cable, if you need them, free. i decided to use the diamond back cables instead.thanks

Maybe you should kill two birds with one stone. (Do it once) Have a custom 17" rim laced to a Wide Glide hub, orfind some take off Fat Bob wheels and tires on eBay........

It seems to me that the '08 fat bob may give an easy solution for wide glide conversion.Swap trees for fat bob trees (rake and trail remain the same). Get new wg axle, spacers and hub.Relace existing rim with wg hub. Havent done it yet. But I think thats the way im gonna go. Any thoughts?

I'm new to this forum. Been reading for a few weeks, and decided to sign up. Pretty cool site.

I agree it would be easier with Fatbob trees (19" rim vs. ?) little better continuity as far as leaving ridability alone. I already bought the WG stuff before the Fatbob came out.

Same here Mud....I bought my trees the day I bought this bike in January..I wanted just to get a Wide Glide but I didn't like a few things like that rear fender for one....Oh...and the price !!!....

Oh and Jackyl...I have been in contact briefly with theses guys..
http://www.accutronix.com/index.html
They told me they have a kit....including fender spacers....axles spacers and hub spacers even the axle which I alreaady bought from HD when I bought the trees....
Kinda pricey...I'm still talking to them just to sell me the hub spacer between the rotor and wheel hub....
I'll let you know or you can do the same if you make a connection with them....
Well I've kinda slowed up on any bike mods for now seeing I'm going to be a grandpa soon.....Grrrrrrr..........
New pics to follow soonwith the very likable Wind Vest I installed....
Small but it works.......

Yeah, I would dig a 21" rim. Only its gonna bring the front endup an inch. (without the added rake of dyna WG trees) The Fat bob keeps the rake the same. In any case, Gonna do it this winter. will post pics.

later
