Hey all you Dyna owners with the new 96engines with tachs. Can you give us Dyna owners without tachs an idea of engine RPM's at different speeds in different gears. Harley seems to be doing away with tachometers and I think a lot of us would just like to have an idea what RPM the engine is turning at different speeds. By the way, for all you bikers who are getting anxious to see the new Rockers, you need to wait a while longer. They are not yet in production. I understand the haven't even retooled for production yet. Figure in January.[sm=WTFsgign.gif]
If you mean rpms, no. 06 Dynas had a 70 tooth rear belt sprocket, the 07 and 08 have a66 tooth. All the other ratios, primary and transmission, are the same. Your rpms would be about 6% higher for any given mph compared to an 07 or 08. My spreadsheet has 06 Dyna numbers as well if you want it.
