I think D & D has a Fat Cat that will fit, its two into one and can come in black.
Rush w the 2.25 sound great if this vidie=o is any indication, go liisten,
I think the rush slip ons are out there from Fuel moto, call and ask.
I have been considering the Rush, I was sort of thinking porcilan coating the header and the slip on blackm might experiment and try two colors on the header like silver and black, Im still trying to make up my mind, got a mont so no hurry. I think the Rush do sound good though
Fletch, are you still happy with the 2-1s? I'm considering the Rinhart's (now 2-1, the flush or staged) if they make them for the Fat Bob. I'm still trying to figure out of the big back single pipe is working for me.
I am concerned about noise; I wouldn't mind a bit louder, but I am not trying to break any windows or **** off the neighbors.
I just installed the Rush slip ons with 1.75 baffles (from Fuel Moto) on my FatBob. Very nice deep sound, no popping. Looks just like the stock mufflers.
I have Rush slip ons that will be here this week I hope. I like the looks of the stock exhaust and want to change up the sound a little bit and going to change the direction of the slash on mine...hope it looks good. I will find out this week I guess.
Here's the thing about slip-ons; I was trying to get rid of whatever catalytic converter was in the stock pipes, I think going with slip-ons means keeping it, doesn't it?
only california bikes have cat mufflers on them for 08. all harleys will have em in 2009, the cats are only in the mufflers not the whole pipe

My Rush slip-ons with 1.75 baffles will be here tomorrow...can't wait. Now, the beauty of the Fat Bob. I have seen this with my own eyes, and have talked intently about this issue with a friend who works for a dealership and goes to the dealer events for the new bikes. The Fat Bob is the only bike in the 08 line that does not have a catalytic converter for the California models. I live in Ca so this helps and I've seen a stock header pipe removed and cut. There is nothing but pipe and there is no cats in the stock mufflers as well. HD boasted about this issue for the Fat Bob at the show for dealer reps from what I was told. There is apparently some type of give and take issue from the EPA that allowed HD to choose one bike in the line to NOT have cats and they chose.............the Fat Bob. Now I was skeptical at first and I have become a believer especially after seeing what I've seen but if anybody has contradictory information, let me have it cause I don't want to put out false information.
The Rinhart's are a bit pricey ($860 or so); but those are the ones I am leaning towards if I can get a sense of just how loud they are compared to stock.
That is very interesting about the converters; I had thought they might be causing more heat, but if we don't have them then its just "normal".
