Hi George - Here's your push - JUST DO IT! But forget the dealer installing forwards. Figure out the control issues and height issues after you put some miles on it. I'm 6' but with a very short inseam, so mids work well for me, but I put hiway pegs on for long distance riding and to change position every now and again. Even lowered the bike with 11" heavy duty shocks (stock are a bit mushy and 12"). Also swapped out seat for a Mustang Vintage Solo - much more comfy but raises you about 1" and back a bit - so there's another way to get you up a bit w/some more leg room. If you liked the bike, you'll love it when it's yours and you can really ride it. Good Luck!
