Anyone know of any good solo seats that arent really thick looking? I need it to be comfortable for long rides to. I've looked at several, but I don't know anyone in person that has changed their stock seats to like a corbin or mustang or something else. Thanks.
EDIT:
Anyone know where I can get a plug to put in the hole of the stock seat if I get a solo seat? Thanks!
Both of the seats you mentioned are good choices.. I had the Corbin Hollywood Solo and my wife had the Mustang Vintage Solo her seat sat alot higher than the Corbin and moved her farther forward than the corbin... The Corbin is good all day easy,, asisthe Mustang ..I alsotryed the lepera Bare Bones and Silhouette with Gel and It looked good and great Quality, But is only good for short rides maybe hour or so.. Hope this helps...
A guy on here recently installed and posted pics of a Lepara Barebones solo seat that was really sharp looking and anything but thick. Not sure how they are priced but am sure you can find them in J&P catalog.

Gotta decide if you want more "comfort" or more "looks"...if you want more looks, your not going to find a thin comfortable seat for long rides. I wanted more looks, but didn't want tofeel like I wassitting on a piece of paper either...so I went with the HD Brawler. Great seat & very comfortable, but if I was going on a 2 hr+ straight riding trip I'd be going with the HD Sundowner, whether ridin' solo or 2-up (they have a sundowner for either/or). Just remember...when it comes to seats you get what you pay for.
I've tried Corbin, Mustang, La Pera, and Danny Grey. Out of all of them, the Corbin and Mustangs are the most comfortable. The Corbins would give you the slimmer/thinner look. Both Corbin and Mustang seats are easy to ride all day with.
As much as I loved the look of the spring seat on Sway, It was like riding a vibrating cinder block after about 30 min. I had to switch it out to a Mustang Vintage Solo because I like longer rides.
I absolutely agree, the smaller the seat, the less comfy it's going to be. But the smaller the seat, generally, the better it looks. But, the Lepara is about the slimmest I've seen yet as far as a solo goes.
