Default Burly lowering kit....

Just installed my Burly Brand lowering kit yesterday on my 07 FXD. Was thinking of buying the shorter shocks but the price diff was huge between the shocks and this kit. Very simple install. It just leans the shocks backward some more. Has anyone had this kit on thier bike and if so what was your experience with it as far as did it change the handling or ride characteristics? It definitely dropped the bike! Got a full 1 1/4 inch out of it for a $90!

for another 40 bucks you could have got air shocks for the smothest ride on earth... and dropped it close to 2 in. if I am not mistaken (no pics posted) you got lowering blocks? that changes the shock angle pretty drasticly... if you do alot of solo that is no big deal at all but if you ride 2 up i have heard of snapping the shock eyelits and where the lower part of the shock meets the eyelet... just a heads up... ride solo leave her at home.... mine just gave up and got her own bike ha ha ha

JRK

Just wondering where you got your air schocks. Are they take offs or new. Looking at the pic they look to be chrome so I am assuming that they are aftermarket. Let me know.
