HELP Oil Screen Plug Removal
1998 FXD Superglide. Installing oil pressure gauge: Trying to get the oil screen plug out. It's a 5/8" dia. slotted plug. Tried inpact wrench (not working) and baring down with a 1/2" sq. stock grinded down like a large flathead screw driver and still can't seem to get the leverage to get it to budge. Trying this engine cold. Any suggestions?? Is there any special tool for this?

You can pick up a drag link tool from sears. It looks like a large screwdriver and is about the size of a socket. You use it on 1/2 inch drive ratchet and come in different sizes for about $6. Replace it with an acorn nut type after you get it off.
