I got this idea from someone else here on the boards that did it, but i got rid of the football.

$6 for the 2 quart saucepan, $3 for the paint and some time in the garage for a homemade cover.

Cheapest and most fun add-on i've ever done.

My bottle opener - I had three separate comments on it today. People crack up when they see that thing (then they want to know if it really works... which is odd)

I like the bottle opener............. It will fit right beside my cigarette lighter

Gotcha, Mud. Heat gun for the sticker(s). retainer for matress *****, ah, um, what was the blonde for?
The blonde was to suck the stickers off, but she didn't work out and I tossed her out.......... Fortunately she had a hair dryer which I kept and used to remove the stickers.
Took the sticker off the air cleaner cover finally, and the lower sticker off the down tube. Just couldn't bring myself to remove the VIN sticker, though.......... After over 2 years of owning the bike, I read the VIN sticker. That thing has some good info on it. Its like reading the owners manual, WOW!!
Took the old inspection sticker off my fork tube (was up end of October), and it was 10 times harder to get off than the HD stickers (better glue).
Oh well, don't miss the stickers, kinda feel lonely since the blonde is gone so I guess I better wax the bike again, and then ride.

Mud thanks for the "remove the sticker" suggestion, I shoulda done it when I took the reflectors off a few years back.

Sweet... with the engine build done, now it's on to final cosmetics. Reflectors and stickers removed. Thanks for the suggestion!

So Doug, the blonde is gone......
