You are all doing well...I am averaging high 30's. Maybe 38 mpg, mix of 80 mph on highway and stop/go city driving. If I do 75 all hiighway I would average a tad over 40mpg I guess. I think the wind vest costs me a mpg or two,but its worth it.
Those who showed a big drop after the stage one....see how lean it was running!!!
Getting about 46 - 7 ('04 Wide Glide, carbed) on the highway, but no idea about city 'cause 99% of my driving is highway. My bike is running lean though, so the carb mods that should have been done to my stage 1 (friggin stealer) should drop it a bit.
Well mine is going to go to crap. I put the PC III (bought pretuned from Fuel Moto) and Screamin' Eagle A/C on Friday mornig to go with my Rush slipons w/ 2" baffles that I've had on for a couple of weeks and, let me tell you, I've been drivin' a little bit differrent since. This so-and-so wants me to twist the throttle now and I can't resist it. Night and day. There doesn't seem to be a peak in power as the RPMs climb. It feels like it wants to go on and on up to the peg. Of course, I am resisting the temptation to peg the Tach but, I can't believe that little change has made such a difference in how it pulls now. Maybe I'll settle down in a couple of days and the fuel useage will go back to normal.
I put the smooth a/c cover on the SE a/c. It looks pretty good. I decided I preferred the closed look to the open filter look. Plus, I ride in the rain a lot and I was a little concerned about the open filter.
