Default 16" Solid Wheels on Dyna ..Look

The back went on fine .. but the front .... DAMN! I'm like a 1/4" too small to fit my brake rotor on. Do you think I could turn the lower legs down on a lathe and shave off 1/8th" on each inner side of the legs? ANY Help or suggestion PLEASE!!

Well, If I could of got these wheels to work I was gonna slap them on e-bay. Is there any way I can use a wide glide triple tree and use my stock 49mm legs?

This may be a silly idea but have you tried different sized spacers betwen the fork and the hub.I've seen 16" wheels on Street bobs with the standard mid glide forks so I know that's possible but I haven't seen the fat boy wheels done yet It looks great you gotta figure out a way to keep it.

Go to the Accutronix webiste. Also, check out the Hawg Halters website. You can get trees from them that will work if you want wider trees. (you can also get raked trees if you want)

I suppose you could mill your existing sliders to clear, but if you go too much ....the metal will be to thin, and could cause a break while riding, which could kill you.[&o]

Hawg Halters also makes spacer kits for all different setups, so you can get mid glide or wideglide trees, and then buy the spacer kit from them which will space your brake rotor out where it needs to be, along with the wheel spacers.

That's what I used when I wanted a narrow glide hub to work on my Softtail forks, which are 41mm. I was able to get them polished from Hawg Halters as well.

MY RECOMMENDATION......go to Hawg Halters, get some wide glide trees and the spacer kit......get them polished, so that you can give them the matte finish if you like. If you like chrome, then pay the extra bones, and get them chromed from Hawg Halters when you buy them!

Nice looking bike, BTW.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks venturachop for your help! (Again) lol And to Ed .. I have a basket of different sized spacers to use. The wheel fits perfect on the front if I didnt want to use a brake ..lol ... I do though, so .... Anyways, When I put my rotor on the wheelis about aneight inch to big to slide into place on both sides. I going to try the dealership way and order the stock trees for a wideglide for 49mm forks. With that extra room I'll be able to make it work right andmake a neat fender to put on there like what exile has. The rear due to them being fatboy wheels from 93' ..they are kinda dull and stuff but I was gonna polish the lip and powder coat the centers black. Should look pretty neat front and back. While I have them all torn apart I'm going to have my trees powder coated and my lower legs painted. Thanks again everybody.
