I saw the thread regarding the Progressive shocks. I found it odd since I had some dealings with eastern and had found them ok to deal with.

BTW...WK, nice looking WG

I've yet to have any issues with them. The Kuryakyn Widow pegs I ordered just came and I just put them on the bike. They are awesome. The pictures in the catalog don't do justice to the size and the detail on these pegs. And they were 20 dollars less than everywhere else and they shipped them for free on top of that. I also bought my Kury forward controls from there and, as noted above, the headlight I installed last week. I got nothing but good things to say about EP and about Kuryakyn. Now I gotta have the shifter peg that matches and I want Kury's smoked signal light trim ring kit with the iridium blue bulbs. The list goes on and on...

The headlight looks sharp man. I think i remember you going with the 4.5" do you regret not going with the bigger light. Basically do you think that the 4.5"er is the right fit with the midsized front end?? Looks good to me.. I was thinking of going that route to, who knows.
Thanks. No, I like the 4.5 personally but I don't dislike the 5 3/4. Just two differentlooks to choose from - both are kinda sweet IMO.
Have you noticed a big difference in the amount of light that the new one puts out compared to the old? (sorry about the thread hijack)

Seems to be nice and bright but hard to really tell until I can take it out at night. Not sure when that'll ever be with the storm that iced the nation approaching...

Ice? Yuck! I really don't miss the winters back home. It's nice for a short while, but loses it's attractiveness real quick with the cold temperatures.

I don't think we're supposed to get any ice or snow. It looks like we'll be just below it. But it is getting colder and will probably rain quite a bit too. Weather this week has been strange. It was over 80 on Monday, supposed to be 75 on Tuesday and never got above 60, then yesterday it was almost 80 again. And, no more than 60 today with falling temps over the weekend getting down to below freezing at night by first of next week.

Anyway, like I said the beam seems to be nice and bright. It has a halogen bulb. Honestly I wasn't impressed with the stock low beam anyway. But, I really don't ride that much at night. I have a few times come home from a long day of riding in the dark and, in the summer, I may ride to "poker night" or something and ride home late and in the dark but most of my riding is daytime. The deer around here, especially this time of year, are dangerous to say the least. Most of us have either hit one in our cages at one time or another or everyone we know seems to have hit one at one time or another. Not a fun thing to do on a bike. So, I'm extra careful and alert at night. My neighbor hit a deer on his Heritage last year. It jumped right in front of him and his windshield hit it square. If he didn't have a windshield, no telling how bad off he would have been. As it was, totaled his bike, skinned him up pretty bad and a few broken bones.

Thanks Bro. I need to take some more current pictures of it. I put a Mustang seat on it a few months ago and haven't taken any pics since.
