In the start, you said "I guess I get the daily "dumb a$$ award"..............no, actually, it's more like the monthly award...........But, as was said above, we all learn, some times, the hard way.
If it is any consolation (and I know it isn't), I've done just as bad or worse. We all have. And not only on our first bike.
Now the good news.....I have the same lift from Harbor Freight.........I love it and use it all the time..........you made a really good investment.........be sure to use some type of tie-down..........bikes dent twice as much when they fall off a jack, so I'm told (I ain't done that yet)
