Well, i got the new taillight on. I think it looks great. I ended up getting a rear harness at the dealer for 33 bucks and then building my own harness out of it.
I bought factory loom online and it came out looking like stock!! I love it.
Here it is, A 32 ford tail light and plate combo:

was it necessayr to get the harness because i was looking at some online and was wondering if i would have to do the same thing if i bought one

I bought the harness so when i get pulled for it i can just pop the old one in and go for a check at the dmv.
