I would agree that it would look great on your bob, i have one on mine but its the S&S kit. I dont know how easy it would be though.

I did it a couple of months ago.
I took a grinder and cut off the tit inside the air cleaner lid.
Then I made a bracket with 18 gauge sheet metal.
It was shaped like the letter Y, and it had a hole drilled in the middle to screw to the OE air filter bolt.
I then used my Marsden thread setter and installed 3 inserts for the S&S screws that hold the lid to the bracket.
It looked OK, but would interfear with my leg as I road, I have a big Zippers air filter though.
I took it off after a month or so, my engine runs better without it.
It can be done!
I can post a snap shot of the bracket if you want.
