I know what you are saying. I bought a new '03 1200 Sporty and had it for 17 months. It was a great bike. But I just had to have a twin-cam so I traded it in. I never had a moments trouble with the Sporty, It was fast, agile, and would do anything I asked it to do, but I had to have the twin-cam.
A guy bought it sitting in the dealer's driveway, right where I got off of it. They never even took it in to the shop. I even saw the guy looking at it when they rolled my new one outside. He got himself a nice ride.
You know...........Mud is right...........I think about the Sporty until I swing my leg over.........then there is nothing in the world but me and the Dyna.
yea it's true you will miss your sporty. i have had three then i bought my first low rider . then i bought a super glide. the sporster is a great bike but the dyna is even better .
