I also have an 08 street bob and some of the answers sound interesting like the easy on easy of bags and the behind the seat bag to take off easy at the motel but .........

Grant, take a peek at the pics of my Fat Bob w/ Harley-Davidson saddle bags (+ EasyBrackets to make them detachable) ... posted a load of them in this thread. I've had them on for about three weeks now ... quality seems very good. Price is $599 for the bags plus ~ $150 for the brackets.

I went with vintage hard bags on my 79 Lowrider. Much more waterproof than my old throw over quarter bags pictured in next post and I can lock them. I like the looks of both
