Pipes Look real goodon your bike...Glad your wait is finally over
Chk with jmpancoast he's closer to you, maybe he can hit ya up with some Grub Control ....
LOL.
Jeeezzz Trotter, your sposed to be looking at his bike. Not critiquing his lawn care !
As long as he's complimentin' my ride, he can crack on my lawn. As you can see, we don't exactly spend a lot of time on lawn care this time of year. Plus we are having the worse drought in recorded history and that doesn't help either. But after a summer of mowing grass in 98 degree heat, my favorite color of grass is brown.
You might want to return the pipes and get some that aren't dented...j/k The reflection on them makes them look like they're dented.
Our cut history for last year was down 48% So I know all about the drought.... Were getting it all now tho... Sucks ...Actually it looks more like a Fungus from extreme heat and Humidity &Drought... But the Leland Cypress Look Great ..[sm=smiley20.gif] Pipes look Better ...

Yep, as I said, pix were very quick and came out crappy. I got away this morning after the dense fog cleared and was over an hour late for my appt. at the dealer so I was behind all day. Had to just take some quick, awful pix to post and then get to work to get caught up.
They definitely aren't dented - I just went out to the shop to check them over from tip to tip. First chance I've had since I got home.
By the way, Jake, now I have a plate or bracket of some sort screwed to the bottom of the motor about where the mid controls used to be. I assume this was part of the old exhaust mounting. Do you have that? Can it easily be removed and the holes plugged?

Those are actually my neighbors trees. I had a row like that behind my old house until a hurricane took out about half of them.
I definitely did not do much with the lawn this year. So there's no telling what's growing or not growing. It's too big to water, and too expensive, and with no rain it stayed brown and not growing a lot this summer. Hopefully nothing a little lime, seed, and fertilizer won't fix...
looks great! how do you like yourbars? are they comfortable on long rides? i am thinking of getting some!---BRIAN
Brian, I love my bars but I spent a lot of time choosing them. They aren't what I thought I wanted because I had to go with a longer rise for ergonomic reasons but I'm glad I did. My hands, wrists, and arms are just where I need them now but that's based on my size. A shorter person would have a hard time with them just as I would have a hard time with 6" risers instead of the 8"ers. Take your time and get the right bars for you...

You are correct, it is a mounting bracket for the old exhaust. Mine is still on the bike, but it will be taken off this winter as part of my mods. If I'm not mistaken, most people leave them on because it needs a special tool to take off and have heard it's a pain in the ***. I'm not sure if that's true or not.
In all honesty, the pipes do look awesome on your bike.

Trotter... I just realized your a professional lawn guy. I just finished my second season ( acctually 1 1/2 ), with a Simplicity zero turn. It's almost as much fun to ride as the Harley ( almost )! I knocked my mowing time down from 1.5 hrs to less than 25min, and thats just doing Y turns, cause I'm not good enough at doing zero turns without tearing the **** outa my lawn!
Before I purchased this mower I used to just let the lawn burn in the summer, ( gave me more time for fishing ), now I'm watering and fertilizing, overseeding, just to get it to grow so I can run this 20hp bad boy [sm=gears.gif].
Sorry about hijacking your post 2007fxdc..... Like I said earlier, I've got a set of BR on there way. I'll make a thread when there installed and you can hijack it, so we'll be even... K ?
