Default 180 Street Bob Rear

Has anyone installed the 180 rear kit from HD and if so was it worth the money and was it a pain to install???

from what iv heard you don't need the kit, just buy the tire!

A lot of people have done it by just getting the tire. It is also said the Dunlop for Harley is the only one known to work correctly on a 4.5" rim. Most 180 tires recomend a 5" rim width min.

Do not need the kit! just the tire... tuck the wires up and you are golden!

Protects the wires from gettin hit by the wider tire. If you have the QD Sissybar you definitely don't need it.

Others have done, say you don't need it at all........... Maybe better safe than sorry??Don't know.

I've heard some dealers won't install it without the kit if that's the case I'd just go elsewhere.
