For about 50 bucks more you can also get the Short Shots Staggared, mine were $276 to the door.

That has not been what I have heard. Open up the exhaust and the bike that runs lean from the factory (thank you EPA) WILL run leaner. A complete stage 1 is a heck of a lot cheaper than engine work! Just my way of thinking anyway!
Besides, why would you rob yourself of the added HP/Performance?
