Default Paint Sets

I'm looking to pick up a used set of tins for custom paint, and I'm not sure exactly which years will fit my bike.

Mine is a 2004 FXD Superglide with a carb. Two questions for the experts here:

Can fuel injected model tins be fitted to my bike?

Which year model tins will fit my '04 FXD?

Thanks!

I believe 1999-2005 tins should fit. Not sure about the fuel injection difference since I have a carb as well and never look into that stuff.

the 04-05 bikes are freaks.
hd modified the tank in 04 to introduce FI to dyna
then in 06 they changed everything.

this leaves the 04-05 dynas as the freaks of the group. tanks and seats will only fit these years. fenders probably go back some, but not forward.

I'm not an expert - if you have carb, you may be able to use an earlier tank, but I'd bet you will have to use an earlier seat as well
