I have a 2008 Fat Bob on order with Mid shift but thinking of changing it to Forwards, I'm 5'9 and when I sit on a F.B. with
forwards it's seems just abit of a stretch for me, but I really like the look of the forwards better. The Dealer suggested
changing the seat to a ( reach seat) and adding mini floor boards. Any Suggestion or is there any kits available to move
the forwards back 2-3". Thanks
I had the same issue....I am inseam challenged. I got mine with mids and love it. I then installed a set of hiway pegs....but those were a stretch as well....So it added an additional mounting hole to the peg moount to rotate them back a couple inches....and they are perfect. So I have the best of both worlds.....more comfort on the freeway with two locations for my feet, and more secure riding position inthe twisties and around town with my mid controls.
i believe there's another post about this? dont' remember. anyway, i had a deuce for 2 years and while it looked cool, i would get tired of being stretched out for long rides. i went with the mids on my fat bob and installed the adjustable hwy pegs. i love the setup, can stretch out and have the mids for when i get tired. best of both to me, i'm 5'9" also.
