Dyna with Cobra pipes
Hello fellas (and ladies 
,
I'm the proud owner of an 07 Street Bob as of April of '07 and am new to the forum. I put 9K+ miles on her last season. Super comfortable bike with plenty of nut for the long rides too. I like what I'm seeing on the forum here. Loads of helpful stuff.
I've just decided to stimulate the economy and ordered a pair of Cobra pipes. I got the Speedster Slashdowns. She is currently fitted with the stock headpipes and SEII slashdown mufflers.
Anyone out there withCobra pipes on a Dyna? Any good news, bad news or rave reviews on them? I'd be interested in seeing some pics too.

i got a pair of Dragsters on the way... will post everything when they're on when i've tuned it all with the Fi2000R closed loop fuel manager
also, not many people have Cobra pipes on their dynas for some reason...there are a few...and the few i've communicated with are very happy with them

Thanks for the 411! I hear ya about the Cobra pipes. They're not wicked popular.I saw them and fell in love with them. V&H pipes didn't have the length I wanted. I had stage 1 put on at the dealer which is air cleaner and SEII mufflers (I believe). I wonder if I need anything else to tune her up to go with the pipes.
I've read some posts butnobody mentioned anything extra. They just bolted 'em on and said they ripped.....Cobra didn't specify anything on their website that I found....

I haven't heard them on a Dyna but my neighbor has them on his metric cruiser and they sound awesome. They have a good quality finish.

i got the Dragsters because they are LITERALLY the only company out there that appears to make a truestaggered drag pipe with the proper length for the dyna outside of the V&H line ...
also, I got the Fi2000R just in case i want to make adjustments... Cobra said I didn't necessarily need it with only a stage 1 upgrade, but it will help with performance and heating issues

I have a buddy with some speedsters on an 07 fxdwg. Great pipe. The have a great sound and in my opinion the best power pipe next to the 2-1 header. I am thinking of getting some for my 04 FXDWG.

Yea I have a feeling my bike is gonna look like it's going 100 MPH just sitting there with the new pipes. And I can't wait to get 'em on and ride

i've actually been eyeing up the speedster longs for my bobber, too. however, wanted to wait till some other forum members put them on... haven't seen any pics yet, though.

I'm hearing more and more good things about them and I'm certainly not waiting any longer than I have to. My taste and judgementhasn't failed me yet.
