Don't hate the football
Why does everyone hate the football air cleaner cover and want to change it? I like it and used the K&N 3909 kit that worked very well. Isn't part of a Harley that makes it a Harley? I know everyone has their own style and ideas for what makes there bike look good. Just wondering.

One of my favorite things about Harleys is the look of the V-Twin engine. The football ac cover does a real good
job of hiding the engine. I went with as small of a round ac cover as I could find. Drag Specialties sells it.

i like the look of no cover. why bother covering up the air filter?

I don't hate it, and I kept it for a long time. But I got tired of it and wanted a change. I also wanted to be able to change from an open filter when riding it naked to a covered one with the bags and windshield while keeping a round cover (since I like the look of the older Evo covers).
