Default Who asked me for Big Radius pix?

I got back from vacation Tuesday and had an email from someone wanting to know if I had pix from different angles of my Big Radius pipes. I thought it was a pm notification so I deleted it and came here to respond to it. I didn't have anything in my inbox so it must have been an email instead. I can't remember who sent me the request. So, anyway, I'm posting all the angles I have below. Hope whoever was looking for them finds this...

Nice pics of your skoot Greg, it looks great. I really like the rear shot and think a 180 would fill that fender real nice!

Oh, so now my rear tire is too small? Or are you just mad because I finally got your pipes?

I think a 180 would look good too. I may do it. Bike has been sitting a lot lately between the cold and going on vacation. But March is almost here and it won't take long to finish off my rear tire once I can start riding more again. I just refuse to pay for the kit though because I think it's bogus since my wires are well secured and out of the way already with my detachable hardware installed. But, if I go with a 180, I like the SE tire the best. Maybe I can get my indy to snag me just the tire and install it for me without going through the dealer and being forced to buy the stupid "kit".

I took those pix the day after I got my pipes installed. I wanted a new sig pic and some wallpaper so I snapped them and posted a few as options in the photoshopping place. Can you tell that the last one is the one they used for my sig pic? Those guys do incredible stuff with photoshop.

Before you spend the money on the kit, I know some here have squeezed a 180 on a stock rim. You really should look into it. I know that I didn't pay for the kit either, it was just two brackets under the fender that cost about $40 total, if that. Check this link out: http://www.hdwheels.com/Product.htm

Specifically this: Dyna Super Glide, Low Rider, Street Bob FXD 2006-2008 19x2.5 100/90-19 21x3.5 120/70-21 17x4.25 160/70-17 17x5.5 180/55-17 18x5.5 180/55-18

I've got to admit the Big Radius are some of the nicest pipes I've seen, but I also don't think they look good on all bikes. They do look great on yours for sure though.

You talking to me or Jake?

I'm just trying to figure out if the person that was asking me for these has seen them yet? Was it you?

The SE 180 fits on the stock rim. The other 180's don't seem to be really designed for a rim that narrow and, in my opinion, don't look as good squeezed on a stock rim. When you take out the cost of the tire, the rest of the kit is not costing that much. But, of course they are going to want money to install it. Someone told me that as long as I have the detachable sissy bar hardware installed, I shouldn't need the kit. And that appears to be true because there is plenty of clearance on my wiring under there now. About 6 months after I got my bike, and before I installed the detachable stuff, I had a wire come loose and get rubbed in two by the tire. Everything is tight enough now though, that it shouldn't happen again, even with a wider tire. I guess, worse case, I can buy the "kit" from the dealer and take it to the indy and just discard the brackets and install the tire alone. I'd be all for the brackets and could probably install them myself if I felt like they were necessary - they just aren't. But the dealer refuses to install a 180 on my bike, while it is under warranty, without the kit.
