I was checking out jackyls tank lifts on ebay and read that the 2003 anniversary editions can only use 3 inch lifts. I know I like the 2", but cannot find too many pics of the 3". Can some of you guys with 3s post a pic or two? And jackyl, if you read this, what is the reason for the 3 inch only on the 2003s? I'm worried 3 may be too much without taller apes. HONEY...I NEED BIGGER APE HANGERS!!!!
There are threads with pix that exist already but I realize the search may not be working. You could try searching with google instead or, rather than gambling that jackyl will see this and respond, just pm him and ask for pix and the reasons why.
Decisions, decisions...I love em both. thanks for taking the time to post pics guys. I'm leaning towards the 3". I think it will look great with the extra rake and apes on a WG. This is a cut and paste from the auction I was looking at. " TANK LIFT KITS (T-BONE STYLE) FOR HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLES (ALL DYNA MODELS) (1999-2008) 2003 anniv. models can only use the 3in. tank lift kit. ALSO AVAILBLE IN MY OTHER AUCTIONS Maybe this is not jackyl...I'll check and make sure before I buy to make sure I'm getting the real deal. Everyone seems very impressed with his product and supporting a fellow forum member is not without it's merits. Keep the pictures coming by all means. I love seeing your bikes. Peace
