well i survived surgery!!
let me just say im hurting like a motherefferr!!!! i got a titanium plate and 5 screws...feels like they rebroke my wrist. anyways this just means im a step closer to riding my bike again. thanks again to everyone that wished me luck. and sorry for being off topic

It will get better, after 6 mons my smashed leg/ankle is still aggrivating but no real pain. Not trying to one up you, but I've got 12 screws and an 8" plate holding mine together. Managed to kick over my damaged Evo the other night, didn't hurt so I'm a happy camper now. Just have a lot of wrenchin' to do before the chop hits the road again.

I'm feeling it for you ... 5 weeks since my shoulder op ... first 10 days was rough but riding again now ... take care but get it moving asap ! When you can move it exercise without painkillers and let the pain tell you when to stop rather than damaging anything.

You guys are "wusses". I've got 3 blown disc and have postponed surgery twice now. I supposed to get those screws and rods, looks like the posts and tops of a chain linked fence.
Currently, I'm on morphine and have been for a while. Got 3 weeks of "ball-busting" work starting Saturday. Then I may make my appointment for surgery. I'll be out about 6 months.

DO YOUR REHAB! glad to hear everything went well... if you need any help or have questions let me know, MBA sports medicine, BA physical therapy... do your rehab and you will be back on your bike in no time... the only thing that i can see being an issue is the apes, when my uncle got his shoulder rebuilt... we tried everything and he just could not keep the apes, ended up with st slammers on his ride and is perfectly cool with that...

JK I broke my right arm 3 timesand wrist2 times in my life, wrist injuries suck you are always jamming it.

Been there done that man....the plate and screws will make it stronger and it should heal quicker. Hopefully they will never have to take them out because that too is like getting it broken again!
