9" mini apes will work with 06 superglide buckhorn stock cables. Never trust a salesmen and there are other parts companies besides HD. I have a 06 superglide and am 5'6. I have tried all the HD handlebars I think.

Thanks Carltex. I checked your link and those parts numbers for the Bob are the exact ones I got for the 07 Wide Glide. (Except for the brake line, and the Wide Glide bar number has a "T" after it.)

Those were probably prices from one of the discount dealers like Zannotis, Surdyke, or Chicago Harley Davidson. I think Chicago has the cheapest shipping from what I'm seeing.

Mini-Ape Swap on Superglide
I am new here and this is just the info I was looking for. I have an 08 Superglide and want to swap out bars and cables for the mini-apes that came stock on the street bob or wide glide. I'm hoping that someone with a street bob or wide glide who decided to go with different set of bars might have their old stock bars and cables collecting dust. I would be glad to discuss price. If not, I appreciate the info on the cable lengths. However, Harley wants way too much for the cables...
