i just bought handle bars, throttle, idle cables and brake linethat came off a 07 streetbob for my 06 superglide and im wondering if i can get away with useing my clutch cable or would i need to go and get a streetbob clutch cable...thanks
I put Street Bob bars on last weekend, the weather got into the 50's, couldn't wait for the new cables before riding.
I bent the brake line, took the clamps off the clutch cable, throttle and idle cables were tight, especially on left turns.
The answer is a kind of "yes", but it looks like $hit if you don't change them all out. But that's just my opinion. I rode 2 days last week with them like that, (some things are more important at certain times) but couldn't wait to change them this past weekend.
So yeah, I'd get the clutch cable and change it out too.
