I bought the bike used with the PM calipers on it already. I have a rear one as well. It stops on a dime and compared to how my wife's sportster stops is all I can say.
damn 500 bucks for one caliper!? id like to see if its worth the cash. stock brakes are **** IMO but im so used to em. im curious to see what really stoping on a dime would feel like
I would pay the $500 providing it improves the braking performance.
can never have too much brakes...
I am surprised that only anubisss on this forum seem to have the PM calipers.
Common people, must be others...
Have PM 4-piston F and R brakes ('97 Wide Glide)...big improvement over stock. More sure of stopping, consistent and very quick. Worth the money over the stock setup and with idiot drivers here in the DFW metroplex - worth it to avoid these people.
I just ordered the 4 pistons two days ago; about $900+ for the set. I've heard nothing but good things about them and PM's chrome quality is second to none. My wheels are from them and they are top notch; money well spent.

You're getting into the dollar stratosphere with that bike. Looks great though. One of the bikes that put me over the top on ordering the Big Radius which are about to go on my Bob.
also +1 on the opinion that stock Harleys have joke brakes.
