Electrical break-outs?
In exploring my new '06 DWG, I've so far run across two stubbed-off electrical connectors; one that's mostly hidden behind the air cleaner, and one that's tucked in around the battery/coil covers. Because I bought my bike used, while I was in Mesa, I went to Chester's and they printed out all 5 service invoices (no repairs; just recalls, accy's., and warranty items) from Uncrate/Set-Up thru Mile 227...all of the original owner's stuff. One item that was added during Set-Up was listed as item #94624-97B Battery Charging Harness. As I'm new to everything "Harley", could this be the stub-out tucked in by the battery and coil covers? For a trickle-charger? What about the one on the other side behind the air cleaner cover? Are there others I haven't run across yet? One in the headlight bowl for add'l lights, radios, plug-n for a Brewmeister? Thanks in advance.
It could be.
The plug for a Battery Tender or other trickle charger usually has one covered connector and one uncovered connector on the 2-wire harness.
The one by the AC(air cleaner) is most likely the plug for some European emission stuff. They all have that, IIRC.
Hope this helps.
