Wow You must have been realy pi$$ed off .
I dont have a short fuse but that may have done it .
Not counting the embarrasment .
Once we agreed on a price I took my new Low Rider for a short ride , mainly to be positive it was the bike I wanted ,
Also helps in a case like yours .
I,d ask for a discount or oil change or ??.
Tell them it was realy embaressing laying down over $15000. and have this happen ...
Anyway , ride safe and enjoy it ..[8D]

I just wanna know that when my front tire falls off when im goin down the road that it is totally my fault!
I totally agree. Unless it is something that I am wayyyy.. unprepared to handle or can't afford the tool to do. I'm the only one works on my bike. So far, there hasn't been anything I haven't been able to do myself. I'd rather put my life in my own hands than some guy who needs his name on his shirt to remember it.

You'da thunk the Dealership would have checked that bike out before releasing it into the wilds
Isn't that the $200 "Dealer Setup" we're asked to pay?

Toclarify the dealership put 10 miles on the bike before I got it. I hit a bump when it happened causing the wires to touch, dealer setup nor inspection include taking the tank off.
picked it up yesterday and The dealer ended up offering me nothing for my troubles .All owners and managers were aware of the situation.

get use to it. I am still waiting on parts and accesories ordered feb2 and the reply I get is dont get mad at us its not our fault. maybe it isnt but a courtesy call and an apology would go along way to sooth ruffled feathers .

You really have to ask for any perks. The fuel gauge went out on mine (the electronic tank mounted gauge) took it to the dealer they looked at it, gave the bike back to me and said they had to get the replacement parts from harley, I started home, with a 100 mile ahead of me, and the tank empty at there request, I stopped and filled up with fuel. To my surprise the gas leaked out of the tank, I lost about 2 gallons of gas on my way back to the dealer about 2miles away, come to find out they didn't tighten some of the bolts in the assembly giond to the gauge and filler neck. Well after bitching for about 5 minutes, I got a free wash and wax that day, free labor when I had my exhaust changed two weeks later, and free dyno time to boot.
