I gotta jump in and offer some negatives...

I ordered a set of 16" black Gimps from Nash on 12/30/07. I didn't get them 'til 2/29/08. If you're not good at math, that's 2 months or 60 days I had to wait. AND I'm still waiting for my t-shirt.

Another thing, the powdercoating on the bars isn't that great. It's super thin and comes off very easily. If you want a set of black bars from them, get the raw bars and bring them to your own powdercoater. It'll end up costing you a little more, but it's better than f'd up bars...like mine.

Besides those negatives, the bars look killer and feel pretty comfortable. I haven't taken them on the road yet so not 100% sure on that...but soon! I already had 16" apes so it's not going to be that much different.

Running the wiring through them can be a pain because of the extreme bend, but fish through some thin solid line first and then attach it to your wiring very well and just yank! I used super strong fishing line with a little ball weight on it to fish it through the bars.

+1 for Nash. Got a set of 14" pudgy gimps few month ago. Couldn't be happier.
I did have to wait 5 weeks though..

I had a similar problem with their service at Nash. I was like 6 weeks before I got mine. They told me that they were at a big bike event ( Daytona, Sturgis or similar ) and that slowed production and that the powdercoater that they use takes a while as well. I must say otherwise that I am more than happy so far with the quality of their product. I also ran the wires through the bars and found it hard at first to get through the 90 degree bend at the bottom. To remedy this i wraped the wires in electrical tape, offset the wires ( so they would be narrow ) tied a string to them, with a nut tied to one end and used baby powder as a lubricant, rather than a wet lube ( which never goes away and may damage the powdercoat ) and this made it much easier. I was then able to blow the powder out with shop-air. In addition I used the 12in apes and didn't have to extend or cut the wires at all.

Ilive in MD and ordered Raw Nash 16" Gimps from NMC on Monday (17 Mar 08) and had them in my hands on THursday (20 Mar 08). Damn fine bar!!!

Well whatever you do don't order them from Tejasthumpcycles.com. I did and waited and waited and waited and called and waited then after bitching them out for a week and playing email tag I suddenly got my gimps in the mail from none other than NASH !!! F&ckers charged me forty or fifty more than Nash and all they did was order them from them. But in my defense I didn't know about Nash when I ordered.. Now I know
