Default Rear Shock Adjust- tool needed?

My street bob I have had for a year has the shock settings that came from the factory. I know the big detent is the softest setting. Im not sure what most dyna shocks come set as stock? I want to soften things up a bit and was wondering---is there a way to do it with out the hd tool(spanner) or what?

I bought mine from Drag Specialties. You must have for load and or passenger weight. I have mine set at 5 and the ride is great.

You can use a well made strap wrench. NOT a cheapie, it will snap .

And taking as much weight off the rear suspension as possible will also help.

Buy the wrench, you will need to try various settings until you are satisfied and as you get more miles on the bike you will be resetting the shocks.
