Drill a 5/8" hole in the closed/inside end of the quiet baffle...Mine are friggin' perfect! Sound way better than the "stock" baffles, IMO...Install is easy - just don't plan on removing them quickly, as the fiber glass expands and gets stuck in there...

Going to ask a stupid question: I have a set of Pythons on my 05' FXDLI. I like the sound but they are rather loud. Are the baffles you are talking about on this thread made for them? Do they quiet the bike back to the stock sound?
Interesting thread. The level of loudness is in the ear of the beholder! I have a set of BSS w/quiet baffles and I think they are REALLY LOUD. Don't get me wrong, I think they sound great. But, if I didn't wear earplugs while riding, I think a hearing aid would be in my near future. Without earplugs, I think I would be going back to stock.
When you put miles on them I have done about 2500 you just get the deep Harley sound and the low end torque increase is noticable. Yes it does eliminate some of the decel pop also. I love them.
