Default Fat Bob Owners

Hi All
I like the dual headlights and I want to put it on my 99 Wide Glide.
It says in the HD catalog it will fit. The question I have is that
when the headlight is on "Normal" are BOTH lights lite or just one ?
When the high beam is selected what happens do both lights get
brighter ?
Thanks ....
Rob .....

THANKS !
Can't wait to pick up the bike and see how it looks.
I'll post a pic of it when I pick it up.
I'm having a rear wheel & tire installed too.

definitely post the pics - I think you're one of first to mount the dual on a wide glide, I'm sure you'll like it.

I just ordered some brighter bulbs for my duals though. The stock blubs seemed sort of dim to me. When riding at night I always have my husband (Heritage Softtail) ride in front of me as he has the passing lights which are much brighter. I'm hoping the extra power will do the trick.

Here is a picture of my 1999 Wide Glide. My 1st Harley was a 1999 Wide Glide I bought in 1997.
In the Fall of 2002 we were dropping of my Wife's FXD for some service work and I happen to
see this bike on the floor for sale. It was used and only had 6k miles and $9,000 worth of chrome
and motor work. Since it was in the off season here in New England the price was way low.
$16,500 to be exact. So needless to say I traded my 1997 for it (My bike & $3,000).
It has a 1550 Stage 2 big bore kit with cams, S.E. air cleaner and S.E. pipes.
The only thing I added since then was theextentions for theforward controls,
Saddleman gel seat and the tach. It is in there now getting the dual Fat Bob headlight
and a new Fatboy slotted type rear wheel & tire. I am still up in the air on WHAT type
of wheel I want for the front. It is a toss up on either a Performance Machine 21" Domino
wheel or a HD 13 spoke mag wheel chromed (from Chrome Pros Plating in CA).

I'll post pic's with the new back wheel & headlight when I pick it up later today or tomorrow.

Bummer ...
Got a call from the shop and they said the headlight would work on a 99 and the catalog
has a new revision saying it is only for 06 and later wide glides.
