Glad you like your ride, mine is also an 06 and it's turning 2, built on April 06, bought it Apr 26 2006, brand spanking new. saw it when it came to the dealer, with big fuse taped to clutch handle.

Forget the windshield (for cars IMHO). I have a FLHRCI (which came with a windshield) which goes windshield-less. Next time you pass the bakery, go get a loaf of French bread open up your jacket and stick the french bread inside your jacket. Welcome to the Family!

I have the buffeting issue with my '06 DWG and QD Compact 'shield. I'm not clear about what you mean "installed lowers"...can you provide some pics? How bad was your buffeting problem and how much did your mod improve it? Thanks.
