I've been toying with the Idea of buying a FatBob, I love almost everything about it.The only thing I am not keen with is the rear fender. For one thing, the rear fender should go along with the name BOB and be rounded like a Street Bob. I never have like the WG looking fender. Now the question is, is there any options here, after market fenders, or will the fender off one of the other bikes fit? Thanks in advance for any input.

Any 06 and up Dyna fender will bolt right on,
(along wit the associated hardware).

To each his own.
I'm by no means trying to change your tastes, but a chopped full fender or a bobtail fender are both "bobber"-worthy.
Look at these bobber photos. This is the style that H-D was approximating with the FXDF fender.

And for folks who may want to know more about what makes a "bobber"...
you know I felt the same way, the fender didn't seem to quite fit with the bike, so I bought the Fat Bob thinking I would change it out when I figured out my options.
oddly, I have become attached to it and now really like the fender on the bike....seems to go well with the fat tires and stocky feel......
I'm with redalfa, took a day for it to grow on me. Fits the chunky look. Looks great when you approach it from behind. Its mainly in photos that itcome acrossodd.
Looks even better once you clean up the back end a little. Get rid of the big red taillight for a smoke (several options) and drop the reflector to make the license plate bracket area smaller. JMO.

There was a guy on here that did that but had it widened by an inch.He claimed he had to to make it fit, that the struts were too far apart.I still think it would fit but you might have to get creative with some spacers.
