Default Torque Cones (Do They Work)?

Well I recently installed a SE A/C and 40" drag pipes (wrapped). I decided to order some torque cones to try and get a little low-mid range torque back, but mostly to get rid of a little bit of the popping and backfiring. I put them in last night and have put about 30 miles on the bike since then. I haven't noticed a large decrease in the amount of popping and backfiring but it doesn't sound as nasty as it did before, it sounds a little more controlled and smoother (if that makes any sense). As far as performance is concerned, I haven't noticed a difference as far as the amount of torque but the throttle response does seem a little smoother. They were definitely not a miracle cure for my bike but they were worth the $7 bucks the cost and the 5 min they took to install.

Happy Riding...

They did about the same for me with my last pipes... Without baffles they are a must.
