VH Sideshots, torque cones needed???

Default VH Sideshots, torque cones needed???
04 883C...my pipes come in tomorrow, do I need to wait and get torque cones or should I be ok without them??

are you putting on an air cleaner? if so you need to re jet. if not you should be ok. I have the sideshots and run them without anything until I got the ac. but I also have FI.

it already has the SE AC...im getting in rejetted/dynoed after i put the the new pipes on

If you keep the stock baffles in then no torque cone is needed. The only time torque cones are "suggested" (because they are never needed) is when you are running straight pipes with no baffle system.

I have Sideshots on my 1200c with the quiet baffles and the bike runs great. I don't think there will be a need for torque cones.

No torque cones needed on those.

They wouldn't hurt because those pipes are glorified straight pipes and are hard on the bottom end even if you have a 1200.
I use cones in both of my Sporties and they have real mufflers, they help no matter.
