get more power, already had the stage 1 air cleaner and Vance & Hines Big Radius pipes and software module done, it runs great and is quick, but what is the most cost effective mod to increase power? the 103 CI upgrade? cams? I'm new to Harley came off a 102" Yamaha Warrior, have a little cash, what upgrade for performance should I do next?? PS Love this freaking bike already! and its my first day on it!
came off a warrior to a fat bob eh?
my favorite riding partner has a warrior (102) and i got a fat bob.
i must say, having rode his bike (stock with v and h BSS), it is way faster than my fat bob
but the fat bob still feels and sounds so much better.
are you looking for extra ponies on the bob cause you miss the way the warrior felt?
how about some of your opinions on the handeling adn overal ride of the fat bob vs the warior.
i like those warriors, cool bikes but if the stock exhaust might be the ugliest thing i have ever seen on a motorcycle
congrats on the fat bob.
A little of both, but its lighter, I prefer the overall sensation of the Harley over the Warrior, but do miss a little of the oomph! I'm sure there are ways to get it!
If you want a 103 kit your going to have to jump through hoop's , I have the 103 jugs , 255 cams heavy duty clutch spring and screaming eagle air cleaner, with a stage 2 down load . I havent made up my mind yet about changing the exhaust yet I kind of like it the way it is .
I finally got enough miles on the conversion that today I went out and wound it up . definatly a big improvement , I know I could get more out of it with a good 2-1 exhaust , race tuner and dyno tune . but for now I am happy . I have a buddy who owns a warrior and im sure we will do a side by side test soon enough . we always let the other ride the new bike and he is pretty impressed with the fat bob.
