Has anyone painted the side covers on their Dyna to match the paint and do they look good??? My bike is Yellw Pearl and I am considering having the boxes painted from black to color of bike-I think it would look good but kinda wondering if thats going to be Too much color???

 

I saw a dyna with blue side covers before when I was at work. Sorry no picture but it actually looked really good.

 

Saw a post a few months back where a member had his powder coated to match his bike. Looked really good. Got me thinking

I could not stand they did not match cant believe they cheap out on 2 covers I went chrome

 

My wife's Streetbob is at the paintshop. It will be painted candy red with airbrush designs. She asked them to paint the side covers too. I'll post pictures as soon as it get out of the paintshop in 2-3 weeks.

 

I just checked out the post from 07SG61 and that thing is hot. If my street bob wasn't black I would do the same thing.

I can't believe how the guy in that post got the colors so close. Plus, his doesn't even look like powdercoat.
