I went with 14" Wild 1 chubbies on my '07 Street Bob and it really changed the ride. Feels a lot more like a real bobber now....especially since I lowered it with Progressive 11" shocks and the LePera barebones seat. If you like the "Captain America" kind of ride you'll love it. It'd be a huge difference over stock superglide bars too.

Im 6-01 with monkey arms. I had 16's on my prior softail and loved em. I just ordered a set of 16" Carlini Gangster's for my Street Bob. Cant wait to get em!
I have 18 inchers and love being able to sit straight up. I am 5- 11 and they are terrific on long rides and in Chicago traffic. The only thing I would suggest is the palm rests ( forgot the name of the darn things ) for the grips to get rid of any cramps after being on the road for a few hundred miles. They just velcro on and are about $20 a pair.
i love my 16". i tried the race bars T bars mini apes and i decided on the 16. you can move them forward or backwards all depending the type of riding you do. Oh and be aware that some states and their 5-0's will stop you if they dont meet regs. texas dont enforce any rules but florida are sticklers for your hands to be below your shoulders.
You gotta love the look. I have a buddy who just gave me a set of 16" gorrila bars and I just need to know what oversize did everyone with 16" bars and stock height risers go with for all the cables? Also, did you need to get a wiring harness extension and if so where did you get it? I do not mean to hijack this thread but it is something that those of us are going to do need to know. Thanks for the help.

Ditto this one.. I am putting apes on my streetbob, any links to braided cables, hoses, wiring parts would be a big help.
I have the bars , I am now looking for the cables, brake lines, and wiring kit extensions (if they have them).
