Default Rattle can job worked for me.

Battery Box Band
A can of auto primer and a can of black textured did the trick.
I did rough it up with sand paper first.

I did the same to my band. Found that Krylon # 3370 Jet Black Wrinkle matched the stock wrinkle powder coating waaay better then the HD Wrinkle rattle can. Not to mention it is waaaay cheaper.

I used the HD wrinkle black on mine and it came out almost a perfect match. Did the same with the horn and horn mount and going to do the SE Stage 1AC mount as well. Roughed it up, prepped with POR, primed with POR, and sprayed it.

Ride Safe.
