Quick Question about Torque Settings
Have a FXDC 2008 and about to throw on a set of Shortshot Stags and some other goodies.
Anyone have an idea what the Torque Spec on the right transmission cover bolts are?

Ordered one this morning. Buddy of mine is doing the wrenching on this, and asked about it this morning since we will be doing the work tonight. Will not have the manual in time and was hoping you good folks may know.
I suppose I will call up and try to smooze it out of the stealer if we are ready to roll and no one here has the answer for me.
Thanks though, good advise I was already taking..

Hopefully your dealer will help you. If not, someone here can probably look it up for you. I just can't right now.

Hi the torque settings for the clutch release cover (where the exhaustbracket bolts to) is 84-108 IN-LBS OR 9.5-12.2 NM as stated in the manual.
