Had the Stage 1 download done and now I think the bike is running real lean. Ordered a PC111 but it wont get here till next week. Daughter needs to take pics this weekend for a college class. If I take the AN off and reinstall the original AC I should richen the fuel mixture correct? Then I can ride till the PC comes in.
ghost it may be running a little lean but if you've had the download, it should be okay to ride as-is until your PCIII comes in. You aren't planning to go cross country between now and then are you?

No but am probably going to be in the closed loop range the whole time. Wont that make it run real hot? Got quite a bit of popping now on decel

We seem to have a lot of guys around here that thing the download is all you need. I've never felt that way but then I've never run that way either - just going by what I've heard.
If in doubt, swap out the A/C and you should be better for the time being.

I am going to buy me one of those temprature probes and see just how hot it is running. Going to pull the plugs and check those also.
If you have a lot of decell pop with the HD download (not surprised) then the AN is grabbing more air than the download is programmed for. I would swap it until your get your PCIII.
Just called Fuel Moto and found out that PCIII was delivered to my office today so I will be sticking eit in first thing Sat morning. Only thing I find strange about buying from them is they do not send any kind of spec sheet stating what map they downloaded. They write your bike type....AC and pipe type on a piece of paper and give it to a mapper. Sure hope they don't mix up the pieces of paper. Wonder if anyone ever got the wrong map downloaded by accident. This is supposed to be plug and play. Sure hope so cause I aint to much of a wrencher.

In that case you might have opted for the OIED's
I also thought about the IED's. Even ordered a pair until I found out the PCIII eliminates the O2 sensors. As Jamie from Fuel Moto said the IED's are advertised to go from 14:7 to 14:1 but they are lucky to get to 14:3. He even said that is better than nothing but the PCIII will map it exactly where it should be. Better power and response throughout. I will muck my way through it. Just heard they are a pain to get in place. The way everyone around here raves about Jamie at fuelmoto I am sure if I have a problem they will take care of me.
